  1. 1. the lesson Friday and getting a liner line.

  2. I learned a new method of teaching volume and surface area to my students. I took the material and taught it in summer school today. I also had learned Sketchpad in the past but feel more comfortable with it. I feel that I still need help with OneNote. I am completely lost. I can draw in it and write but I do not know how do any of features like a notebook vs sheet or whatever it is. Obviously I learned about the tablet PC this week, but I still feel like I could use more help getting used to it. I guess that comes with time too. Blogging is new to me. I had posted a few times on Myspace but never really for the public, only friends.

  3. 1. I thought that Friday's guest gave a valuable lesson. Using the beakers and water to find volume and area was very helpful.

    2. I could still use more practice with using the different formulas.

    3. I enjoyed learning the different things that I can do with my tablet while using powerpoint.

    4. I could use more help with making graphs in excel.

  4. Like doing the measuring volume and gracphing it using Excel. Would like to learn more about using Excel. Need more help on finding the surface area.

  5. 1. I learned how to draw 3-D figures with the help of Vickie.
    2. Little more assistance with volume/surface area
    3. Utilizing sketchpad with classroom lessons and using excel for lesson
    4. More help with sketchpad since I haven't used it much in the past and powerpoint--don't use it often enough

  6. 1. I learned (A) that an area measurement is squared (B) that your height and arm span is about seven times the size of your feet (C) absolute and relative error (D)that a factorable quadratic equation will make a rectangle (E) Polydrons would be fun to use in class.

    2. I have never been extremely comfortable teaching Probability.

    3. Sketch Pad, One Note, Power Point, Posting a picture using the webcam, etc. . .

    4. Adding this Blog to igoogle

  7. 1. I learned how to calculate surface area.
    2. I still need help creating nets.
    3. I learned a few new things in powerpoint and I love the snipping tool.
    4. I still need a little help with the web cam.

  8. 1 and 3. Learned to transfer mathematical information to sketchpad. Sketchpad is great!

    2. transfering math content to use with technology.

    4. use of any technology to use within the classroom. Lack of Technology available in classroom hinders that ability!
Also need to get used to working right in One Note!

  9. 1. I refreshed myself on performing volumn measurements. As well as, refresh myself on triangular measuring.
    2. I want to do some extra practice on volume with cylinders and triangles.
    3. Using geo sketch pad for circles and triangles. I also learned all to further my graphs in excel, awesome.
    4. I want to look more into using geo sketchpad.

  10. 1. How to use excel to graph.

    2. Still rusty with equations that I have not used in a while.

    3. Working in one note for presentations.

    4. Still need more practice with finding blogs when it does not pop up exactly.

  11. 1. I learned how to incorporate the different surface area formulas...instead of just doing it My one way (the formula i'm used to). I also learned to use pick's therom.
    2. Using manipulatives to show them the pythagorean therom.
    3. I learned more on sketchpad, learned to used the snipping tool, and I learned to video myself.
    4. I would like more help on learning to do the webcam. I would like to be able to see and talk to someone else who has another webcam.

  12. 1. We worked with volume this week, but we incorporated slope of a line, scatterplots and trends. Who knew you could incorporate so much with volume. I also learned more about Pick's Therom.
    2. Anything with manipulatives would be great.
    3. Sketchpad, Snip It, AVG, Malware.
    4. I need help with skype, how to connect my laptop to my projector at school, how to connect my laptop to an ipod.
